Fasten your seat belt – the fresh Katy Perry video for “Waking Up In Vegas” is finally out. The colorful and fun video was directed by Joseph Kahn and of course it was shot in Las Vegas!

I’m fascinated by the evolution that Mandy Moore has gone through since her debut back ind 1999 with the single “Candy”. The sugary song about teenage love instantly put Mandy on the popstar map.

But 10 years later Mandy Moore is a totally different artist. She is married to singer-songwriter Ryan Adams and will release her album “Amanda Leigh” in the end of May. Her latest single is nice, but nothing revolutionary.

You gotta listen to this! “Raindrops” is the brand new single from my favefavefave house duo Basement Jaxx. The guys have mixed ruff vocals with layers and layers of beats, synth and their signature eclectic samples. And don’t you just love the artwork shown here?

Lady Gaga is known for her fabulous stripped down piano version of “Poker Face”. But now she has outdone herself with a magical version of her new single “Paparazzi”. The intro, the way she is in control, the voice, the composition – WOW.

I’m so glad that she is showing her skills, after all Lady Gaga is a classically trained pianist.

I was quite the excited fan after seeing stills from Kanyes new video “Amazing”. But now that the video has been released I’m kinda disappointed. The whole thing is just boring. Yeah, Hawaii sure looks awesome, and yes Young Jeezy is a charmer. But I’m half asleep here…The good thing is that the song is plain wonderful.

After listening to “Boom” just a couple of times, I was hooked. Meet Anjulie, a Canadian singer who is about to release her debut album later this year. One of my fave bloggers Arjanwrites.com describes her as a mix between Nelly Furtado and Corinne Bailey Rae, and he is spot on. Did I mention the video is uh-mah-zing?

Finally Beyoncés latest single “Halo” is taking flight. Right now it’s on Billboard Hot 100 number 12 – and number 4 in the UK. Here’s a performance of the song that is co-written by Ryan Tedder.

Look at that! Rihanna and Katy Perry are totally bonding during a vacation in Barbados. Katy recently confirmed that she and Rih hang out together – but who cares about your friendship – WE WANT YOU TO MAKE MUSIC TOGETHER, NOW!

It’s quite pretty in a disturbing way. Eminem will release his album “Relapse” in the middle of May.

He is SUCH a bad actor, so beware of the painful intro for this video for “Part Of The List”. Nice song though, I could see this becoming a mainstream hit.

Here’s the brand new video from Black Eyed Peas for their single “Boom Boom Pow”. I’m giving this a B+, because the Peas stay interesting and relevant and switch up the game a little bit.
