Nadia Hearts Music

OMG, I just found this priceless photo on my computer. It was taken in the summer of 2006 after my interview with Lily Allen – would you BELIEVE this photo is four years old?! At the time I had the most amazing job as the music editor of a youth magazine, and I got to talk to so many inspiring people. Including Lily, who in this interview told me that she hates her big thighs, was considering going back to her ex-boyfriend whom she wrote “Littlest Things” about and that she likes her men ugly and preferably with hairy backs. I was a huge fan, and interviewing Lily was amazing. What a pleasant flashback.

So much has happened since. Lily laid off the glitter-eyeshadow and the trainers and is planning to retire, if the rumours are true. I have left the music journalism work to become a superhero/blogger/journalism student. But one thing that hasn’t changed is my love for Lily’s music.
